2022 Syrah, Steiner Vineyard

The aromas and flavors offer subtle complexities of linen, brandied balsamic black cherries, plum, almonds, dried green chili, and a hint of olives and bacon fat.  This is a wine framed by dusty tannins that provide the structure through to hang the fruit on to the finish.  I’m accompanying lamb stew with earthy roots seasoned with Berbere/smoked Paprika with the Steiner Syrah, with each enhancing the other.  Sounds like a great relationship, Cheers!
